I was coming back home from my daily walk in the park with my two Skorrvids, Pineapple and Sage on my shoulders and my Neco, Iris following behind. While I was coming home Iris started hissing at something but when I turned around no thing was there. Iris still looked on edge and I didn’t trust her to not go after whatever she saw, fake or real, so I picked her up and when home. At home Iris was still acting strangely, she was always looking at something yellow then start meowing or hissing at it. Most of the time it was the sun, well I couldn’t try to find out what she was trying to show me. With all the work in the house I already had to much on my plate, especially with my Skorrvids starting to molt.

It’s been a week since Iris was acting weird and she’s still doing it, I don’t know what the problem with her and I’m starting to get worried. I heard that there’s gonna be a solar eclipse later. Thats when I’ll take my walk.
I walked outside and started towards the park like always my Skorrvids on my shoulders and Iris following behind, as we reached the park entrance Iris started hissing at a bush. Then Sage and Pineapple hopped down from my shoulders and started hissing at the bush too! I looked a round to see if anyone was staring but when I looked around I noticed nobody was here at the park. Was something scaring everybody away? Then I looked at the bush in panic, there’s something in there. And I just let All of my pets near it, I looked back at the bush but something was wrong. Pineapple and Iris were gone! I looked around in panic running all over the park calling their names. I went back to the bush, and to my surprise Iris and pineapple were there! With…a glowing cat? As I looked at the cat I realized this was the thing Iris was so weird about! This glowing cat, she must of seen it last week when we were at the park. The glowing cat brushed along my leg. They felt weird…almost not solid but warm and soft. “Hey there little one” I said with a soft voice “are you the one who’s scaring everyone off?would you like to come home with me?” I asked them. The cat purred in response “I’ll take that as a yes!” I said, smiling. On our way home I was workshopping names, when I stepped in to my house the perfect name hit me, like the cold air of the house I looked at the cat, “I’m gonna name you Solstice or Sol for short”
Here’s my drawing! Sol likes playing with Sages molting feathers. T-that won’t cause problems later on…right?
ps. This was really fun to draw! Especially with the glowing affect and if I don’t get them, congratulations to whoever does!
Sol has been adopted! Congratulations!
