While the majority of the students at Luxor seemed to be all doom and gloom after what had taken place at the pep rally back at the New Zealand campus, Sora was in high spirits. She hadn’t felt any attachment to Hector and frankly, she’d always found it to be a bit suspicious, the way he’d buddied up to so many of the students. She was certain there were some who would judge her for not being sad, but one, she didn’t care and two, it wasn’t like she’d been attached to the guy. And anyway, how could she be sad when they were in Japan? She loved Japan. “Doom and gloom aside, like, how exciting is it that we are in Japan?” The grin on her face was almost similar to that of a child’s on Christmas morning. “Watashi wa kaimono ni ikitai,” she continued in Japanese, also feeling the excitement of being somewhere that she could speak the language fluently. “I mean, my birthday is in a little over a week, so why not shop until I drop, you know? As the saying goes. Besides, retail therapy is precisely what the doctor ordered after that shit show back in New Z.” @luxorstarters
