The Clave was already looking at the Institute as problematic, and something that needed to be changed. In all honesty, they were looking at him as the problem because it had come out he was Valentine's son. Even though he'd given everything to them, even though he'd shown them that he wanted nothing to do with Valentine, everyone saw him as a problem. And one that needed to be solved sooner rather than later. He hadn't wanted to rope his siblings into this. Something told him they had their own issues to deal with. But Izzy and Alec had been there for him growing up, and now Jace was relying on them to help him now. He hated asking them for help, but if anyone would do it he his siblings would. Hopefully, trouble wouldn't find them like he felt like it might. "But if you're sure then we need to figure out how to do this without attracting more attention."
