This is a special image that is different from many photographs we see today. It's like an old photograph we came across from a family album which brings our thoughts to the old days. Except for the location and the costume, what makes this image so special is the light from the Lux Senior Retro Camera Flash.

“This picture shows the difference between using the Lux Senior bare bulb flash reflector vs. just the available lighting. The picture where the flash went off shows warmer, richer colors (especially her red lips) and provides some more shadow detail to the train's wheels,” said our master photographer and educator Luke Edmonson, who produced the touching concept video of the Lux Senior this time.

In addition to bringing us a nostalgia light effect, the Lux Senior also ensures an easier and freer using experience in any environment combined with modern technology.

“We were shooting on a train station platform in a typical open shade situation during the middle of the day. We were shooting in A mode as more of a fill-flash than trying to overpower our model,” Luke said. “To minimize the specular highlights on the reflective areas of the train, we dropped down just a bit to lower the flash in relation to our subject.”
