trying to understand 10 year old fic notes and outline is like "my handwriting is better than i remembered actually! but i unfortunately have no idea what i meant by 3/4rs of this!" 😶🤷🏻‍♀️

nevertheless. sometimes Life Will Lay You Down nostalgia hits and or lizzington feelings attack, and I have to make an Attempt. My backstory was entirely different than where they ended up in canon which is why i lost steam originally, but the canon backstory was fully terrible and impossible to follow so this would actually be a selling feature now. If i could actually remember what i planned, that is

day 3 of being ill, actually feel worse if possible. 

on the other hand i started rereading Life Will Lay You Down last night, and it gave me all sorts of feelings for that AU i created and that S1 reality of Liz and Red we all miss. Like I could almost work on it some more again, once sitting upright for extended periods of time is possible again.

that awkward moment when you're rereading your fic to try and get your head on straight and realize you've got not one but *two* scenes that read as extremely similar to the emotional moment from the fall finale and you start to wonder 1) if I'm going to accidentally predict anything else and 2) if future readers are going to properly realize that i wrote it *before* the scene in the show ;)
