IT  WAS  never  ending  .  at  least  ,  that  was  how  the  legends  went  .  that  a  WAR  between  the  north  --  the  kingdom  of  ice  and  dragons  and  the  east  -- a  land  of  fire  and  immortality  had  been  LOCKED  in  war  .  until  today  .  (  well  ,  a  MONTH  ago  )  .  when  SHE  became  of  age  ,  they  called  for  her  .  the  FIRE  KINGDOM  .  for  the  daughter  of  ice  and  the  UNDEAD  GIRL  .  she  was  to  be-wed  to  a  man  she  had  never  met  and  for  WHAT  ?  to  become  queen  ?  she  was  ALREADY  a  queen  .  (  for  an  allegiance  ,  her  father  said  .  to  STOP  this  war  .  to  stop  innocent  people  dying  )  .

her  marriage  wouldn’t  bring  them  back  from  the  dead  .

sixteen  horse  drawn  carts  &  a  dozen  extra  horses  ;  banners  of  red  and  gold  .  DARKEN EYES  catch  them  from  the  window  and  she  wonders  which  once  holds  HIM  .  her  fire  king  .  tugs  from  one  of  her  many  hand  maidens  ,  fixings  at  her  hair  that  had  fallen  and  KISSED  her cheeks  .  (  her  kingdom  has  never  been  this  busy  during  WAR SEASON  )  .

--  she  descends  ,  silk  and  furs  trailing  behind  of  her  --  an  iron  crown  braided  into  her  hair  .  a  REMINDER  that  she  needs  no  one  to  be  royal  .

of  course  she  curtsy’s  ,  pieces  of  her  cloak  trailing  over  the  ice  layed  ground  .  (  it  is  beginning  to  melt  ,  she  can  fell  it  in  her  bones  .  that  HER  FIRE  KING  is  destroying  her  home  )  .

                                     ‘  and  PRINCE  DANTE  SPARDA  of  the  fire  kingdom  .  ’

a  FAUX  smile  comes  to  her  lips  ,  narrowed  eyes  trailing  over  the  man  before  of  her  .  ’  your  grace  ,  it  is  an  honor  to  have  you  here .  ’  (  she  SPEAKS  with  caution  ,  death  lingering  on  the  inside  )  .  she  shouldn’t  have  to  DO  THIS  .  for  my  kingdom  ,  she  reminds  herself  .  / @lxbertine
