I finally watched the documentary BTS: The Return. All I have to say is that I have so much respect for BTS, for how hard they work and how much they care about their craft and it's reception. Their meticulousness, dedication, precision, excellence--all of it. Absolutely incredible. And I'm so glad they fought for every creative decision that they did because Arirang is truly an incredible album. It grows on me the more I listen to it. I hope they are happy with its reception from ARMY, mixed opinions aside. It's wanjeong BTS, and I truly think it reflects the start of their new chapter without departing too far from where they started. It's forward-facing while being past-representing. I love this album and the story it tells. I love BTS.

I am a new SNK fangirl

I took me awhile to get there but I am there finally, which is inside the SNK fandom. I spent a few days skimming through SNK season 1 and 2, and then I read the manga randomly like the last 3 chapters and a few chapters on how Armin became a Titan and on Levi’s childhood meeting with his uncle Kenny, and darn I wish I could indulge a little deeper in it but life happens. But I might came up with a drabble on the levihan coupling, and draw some things, they are so cute and the sexual tension is real (to me!). I like that Hange is so tall and Levi is so short, like me and my hubby - we have a good 3 inches of height difference between us. Hahaha.

I feel sad that I waited over three years for BTS's comeback and now that they're actually returning with a tour, I don't stan them as hard. I even kept learning Korean so I could understand more by the time they returned. Of course, I love their music still. I'm just not as obsessed with them like I used to be. I haven't watched RUN BTS or any BTS content in a while. I see them as just regular people now. I deleted Weverse and I don't watch their live streams anymore. I am still a fan, of course. I just think my fanhood has tempered into respect and appreciation from more of a musical lens.

This could all change once they return with new music, of course. But it could be getting a job, transitioning to adulthood, and just generally growing up that's changed my perspective.

I've found myself enjoying more Western music again, whereas in the peak of my ARMY era, I only listened to BTS pretty much all the time. The musicians I enjoy are too many now to even remember and list.

That is all also why I haven't been active on here in a long time. I've found myself diving deeper into Kdramas, books, and creative hobbies.

IG ARMYs glaze Japanese ARMYs for no reason. Bro, if they could have their phones out at the concert, they would too!!! You think they wouldn't snap pictures and videos?? They're not superior for not having their phones out because they literally are prohibited from doing so.

Can I just say that I hate jargon

I had this dream that I went to a friend/acquaintance's house and their house was crazy big and crazy well furnished. Like they had two kitchens and two master bathrooms? And the woman had a whole room just to display her power suits/business clothes ? Truly goals. Except it would be a pain to clean but if I was rich enough to have all that I'd just hire a cleaning service.

Have to go to my university campus again today and I'm scared because I'll definitely see people I know and what if they ask me what I'm up to these days and I don't have an impressive answer (I actually don't)

But at the same time I miss just walking around and admiring campus so I look forward to that
