My friend was talking abt her brother being her mums “password baby” today and I said my brother is my mums too. She asked if it bothered me and I said no, because it’s true I don’t care. The whole time I’m thinking how my sister sent me all her passwords right before she died and I cried for hours because every single one was me.

ppl need to stop crying "queerbait" as soon as they dont get the ship they want. you're diminishing the meaning and damaging other conversations abt the treatment of queer characters & fans by using that word over a ship that was never going to happen. the entitlement is insane.

when i was a kid in catholic school one of my teachers was convinced i was clairvoyant and she would make me sit by her in one-on-ones with students she wanted 'insight' on and draw so she cld interpret the drawings i did. but then the nuns found out and she got in trouble

sometimes it feels like Yellowjackets is just everything i built my personality around for 25 yrs shoved in a blender and wizzed up. womens football. greek mythology. queerness. catholicism. tragedy. twin peaks/x files. nature symbolism. classic lit. i literally wrote my thesis on the intersection of villainy and motherhood in fiction. like oh a smoothie? just for me??? you shouldnt have.

forgot how easy it is for me to burn as well like i wasnt even out for that long. everyone talking about the yellowjackets having no toothpaste or soap or whatever but can we pour one out for van palmer surviving two summers outdoors with no sunscreen. being a ginger is not for the weak

jackie really is the type of girl i wld have despised in school. mainly because i would have been projecting and seen all the stuff i hated/was repressing abt myself on her.

I think sometimes people forget when writing about sex how unintentionally revelatory it is. And how scary that can be. Especially when it's with someone you already knew pretty well beforehand. Its why I've never understood the argument that sex scenes are unnecessary in fiction. It's more that some of the sex scenes we get aren't tailored to the story or characters enough. And I guess they don't necessarily have to be, but in some cases it would be more interesting if they were.
