Hello, this is Remembered? Ghost?
@lyfrassireddatsct
Oh! I- I didn’t realize you were on here. Hello, I-
Is everything alright over there?
Spiral?
Do you still remember me?
-- Remembered @lyfrassireddatsct
Of course I do.
I don't forget, that isn't what I do. I remember you. There isn't a portrait for you in my halls, but a portrait is not needed. I would not forget you.
It started as just a flash of rainbow color in the corner of Remembered’s eye. It barely seemed to look like a person, just a small flash of color, ducking behind a nearby doorway, and then it was gone. No reason to think of it as anything but a trick of the light, but… something about it seemed off.

Remembered glanced up, feeling. . . off about it. Something strange was in the air, had been all day. Whether it was the phone messages, or the way their apartment felt almost unfamiliar, or the new scars they didn’t recognize, it was. . .
Wrong. Everything was wrong. And the rainbows weren’t helping.
knocking on the door to Raphaella's lab took more willpower than Ghost thought it would. It wasn't like they didn't want to talk to her, but— there was still a feeling of everything feeling like a first step, after... coming back. Memories still feeling distant and too sharp.
Remembered was there, though, so.... it was going to be fine. It would be good to talk to people. They just had to... convince themself, first, instead of getting into their head about everything. A big part of their job had been talking to people— talking to Raphaella— before. They knew how to.
Raphaella cracked the door open slightly, before brightening upon seeing Ghost and Remembered. "Oh! Lyf! And other Lyf! Come in, come in!" She ushered them both inside quickly, a grin spreading across her face.

This wasn't their world's Cognizi, Remembered reminded themself. And-- wherever the woman was, it was likely she'd-- forgotten them, just as much as anyone else had. Might remember them now, but who was to say?
This wasn't her. This was Ghost's version of her, and they just needed to make sure that she treated them nicely.
They offered Ghost their hand as they walked in, just in case Ghost needed something to hold onto. A reminder that they were around and real and that Remembered was there for them.
The next dream that Stell led the group into felt like Remembered's universe once again, but there was once again no sign of them. Instead, yet another version of Marius von Raum sat in what seems to be his room on the Aurora. There are notes on the walls, attempts at drawings that have faded and twisted, pictures that have turned wrong.
Some appear to be dissolving. One picture, more distinct than the rest, shows a figure disappearing, piece by piece.
He doesn't look up at the sound of footsteps. Doesn't do anything but close his eyes tighter.
"If you don't know their name, keep walking," he said, sounding far, far too tired. "And-- and if you're going to tell me it's my fault, I--"
"You."
"Oh, joy. Dagr." Memory's eyes blink open, just enough to take in the group. "And friends. I-- this isn't a part of the dream, is it?"
Stell doesn't know who's coming to the dream, all things considered. They just know they need to find Remembered to begin it. If Remembered is still there to find.
Finding people in dreams is difficult at the best of times. Finding Remembered is going to be harder, if they've been disappearing. Last time, Stell didn't even see them at all, until they stumbled into Ghost.
But they wander through the dreams anyway, hoping. Looking. They don't know what the deal will bring, but they don't want that version of them to stay forgotten.
. . . Is that Ghost?
