Remembered didn't have much of anything to pack, when things came down to it. There was a small bag of cat supplies to bring, along with holding Ghost-cat on the way, and holding the device.
They weren't thinking about their conversation with Memory, they told themself. Or the tingling feeling in their fingertips that might mean their fingers were beginning to disappear, or might mean that they had worked themself up to a near panic and needed to sit down for a while.
They'd said goodbye to Alone and to Lesbian as quickly as they could manage, and then turned the device on.
Put the material in, and press a button, Memory had said. So Remembered, with a bag on their elbow and a cat held to their side, tucked the scrap of fabric in carefully.
Wherever they showed up, they reminded themself, Ghost would be nearby. And the crew knew they were coming. It shouldn't be a problem.
They took another deep breath, and pressed the button.

Happiness wasn't something Ghost was particularly used to, at this point, so the feeling was... weird. The feeling of their heart (?)(did it still count anymore?) pounding in their chest and their mind racing and their hand kept passing through every single thing they tried to touch—
The only real prep-work was making sure the room Marius had set up for them— which they still hadn't touched— hadn't gotten magically covered in blood since they'd last seen it (mostly, it had not), moving cat stuff into the room for them, making sure there was something for Remembered to eat once they got there—
Every time they'd been with Remembered so far, it had included some sort of mortal danger. Now that they could just... exist together? They had no idea what it was going to be like.
They'd actually be able to be there. Not dimensions away, not just— exchanging messages and hoping for the best. Actually there.
They'd be pacing, if Marius hadn't expressed concern about their knees and forced them to sit down. He'd handed them some sort of... fidget thing, which was nice, even if they kept dropping it. holding it close to the floor seemed to help, at least.
Marius seemed happy, they thought. A tinge of worry, but he kept looking at them with those eyes. They weren't going to allow their brain to elaborate on what those eyes were, because right now, Remembered was going to be here.
Remembered and Marius together wasn't— it wouldn't be easy. But they had to trust him. And— they did, they supposed. It didn't erase the fact it was him and another him had hurt Remembered— but it mattered, at least a little bit.
Just... sitting, and waiting, at this point. For their friend to get there.
