Name:
Ise, Himeko - Nanao insisted on her family name. There’s no real rhyme or reason behind the given name other than Nanao liked it. Possible meaning for the Kanji (卑弥呼 according to wikipedia) is sun and Rice child or Princess child.
Gender:
Female (Ise curse, so no other option. AS with all of these I’m assuming Kisuke worked out a way to overcome the male death thing. How? Science)
General Appearance:
Lanky and a little on the scrawny side, long dark hair like her mother with a slight kink to it which she cuts to a something a little shorter by the time she’s a teen. A small, kind of pixie like face that often gets swamped by her hair. Unusual eyes which come from a relative - they’re green rather than the indigo or grey that her parents have.
Personality:
Quite stoic like her mother but with her father’s sense of creativity. Rather reserved and one of the more quiet personalities in her friendship group. She is however, very good with people and has a reasonably large circle of friends. Has inherited her mother’s love of reading and is a bit of a worrier. Was quite an anxious as a younger child and although that got better the older she got, she never really shook it off completely. A little bit of a people pleaser, out of liking to know the people she cares about are okay but can stand up for herself when she needs to (sometimes this needs to be pointed out to her)
Special Talents:
Excels at kido just like her mother and is also a skilled negotiator at times. This can be hindered at times due her need not to upset anyone if she can, but is nevertheless rather shrewd when it comes to negotiating the best price on something and would do reasonably well if she went into sales and marketing.
Who they like better:
Closer to her mother but in no means estranged from her father. It’s just that she finds Nanao’s steadiness kind of comforting and Kisuke’s laidback-ness and sense of humor a little harder to deal with at times.
Who they take after more:
A nice balance of both when it comes to her personality . Nanao’s seriousness with Kisuke’s ability to think outside the box and innovate. Physically however, she looks very much like her father.
Personal Headcanon:
Has a fascination with the world of the living (influenced in no small part by her father living there and his tales of various exploits) and actually became quite close to the remaining Vizord living there growing up (prior to her return to soul society to become 8th division, Lisa took her under her wing and read with her just like she did with Nanao). Decided to go live with her father as an older teen and can be found hanging round the shoten as an adult (while regularly sending butterflies back to her mother in the seireitei every time her father gets too much)
