I'm obsessed with Noel adjusting Lyla's (we've all got our own names for fem Liam haven't we?) clothes. Even if they both pretend to be annoyed by it, I know they like the simple intimacy of Noel having his hands on her that way.

Lyla mixing up the buttons half way down one of the flannels she stole from him that day, because she she wasn't paying attention, and him calling her stupid while he guides her close him to fix the buttons himself

Lyla looking for him in the middle of party to ask him to fix her twisted up bra strap because it's digging into her skin, knowing damn well she's not above asking any random fucker to do it

Lyla being obnoxious and asking him to tie her shoe because she doesn't want to bend down... Sometimes he says yes

Noel helping her put on necklaces

Noel coming up behind her and pulling her skirt down when it rides up from her constant moving around

I don't know, there’s just something so cute and tender about it to me, because I feel like Lyla's so full of energy and life she rarely gives herself a second to think about how she looks at any given moment, she doesn't care. Whereas noel, ever the observer of his surroundings, is constantly aware of her, watching her interact with the world, just so protective and in love. They're simple actions, but if you saw them in public and it was a consistent thing, you'd probably start to wonder... it walks that line of them just being slightly too close and people choosing not to think anything of it even though it's staring them in the face
