Micah wants a family with him sm

I'm sorry, but I might have another distraction. All this Ian angst makes me crave some Ian fluff. So, are there any fun facts about him you could tell us? Maybe some fun or fluffy scenarios between him and his siblings (there is probably more to say about Neil since you said he is closest with Ian) and nephews and nieces (here probably more Micah since I think you said at some point that he is Ian's and also Blair's favourite nephew) you could describe a little.

Don't distract yourself too much though with this ask! Doesn't need to be a lot. I just think a few bulllet points about Ian fluff might help everyone to not think too much about all the pain he had to endure.

He had the most trouble sleeping alone in his crib and bed. As a baby, he wouldn't fall asleep unless close to Yvaine, and as a toddler he oftentimes kept asking her if he could please sleep in the bed next to her. As a child, very well up to his pre-teens, he would often share a bed with big brother Neil

Ian has the closest relationship to Fergus from all the first 4 Bower kids. There were times where he'd almost constantly clung to Fergus' leg. He found it very amusing to be dragged around like that. Sometimes Neil joined in. Up until their early teens they'd let Fergus try and lift them just for Fergus' amusement.

He loved getting piggyback rides from Edan and when he became a big brother himself, he loved giving Keith and Maisie piggyback rides (Maisie more than Keith. Not because he dislikes Keith but because Keith and him are only 3 years apart, while Maisie is 6 years younger)

Neil and him had a year-long competition running on who's the better salesman (Ian is better)

When one of Neil's crushes (a good friend) hurt Neil, Ian provided snacks and shit talked that person into oblivion

His undercut is the result of Blair wanting to try something out but couldn't get Edan or Neil for it. Although he was a bit nervous on how horrible she'll mess up his hair, and even though her cut wasn't perfect, he ended up liking it enough to keep the hairstyle

He learned how to braid from Blair too

Blair loved doing stuff with her brothers' hair in general. While Edan, Neil and Keith were more indifferent to it and almost opposing sometimes, Ian enjoyed it all the more

Lianna and him are the gossip queens of the family

Sneaking out with Neil (18) once, they ran into Blair (19) sneaking out herself. "What are ye doing here?!" "What are ye two doing?!" "We asked first!" "I'm meeting Lianna at the tavern" "Ouuuh meeting yer girlfriend, eh?" "One word to mum and ye two are dead!" "She willna hear a word from us, if she willna hear a word from ye about seeing us at the tavern too." "The tavern? Ian (15) is barely of legal age to go there." "Booo party pooper." "It's alright, he's wi' me. I'll keep an eye on him. Besides, if ye're there too, ye can watch him too!" "I'm goin' there to meet my girlfriend, not to watch my younger brothers hopefully not get wasted!" "Do we have a deal or no?"

(Neil has started embracing a more rebellious side at that point. Thank Breena for that)

Remember the piggyback rides? His siblings have grown out of it but his nephews and nieces beg for it all the more. No family gathering was complete without Makenna, Cayden, Feya, Alicia, Micah, Cecil/ia, Emirys, Cassie, Lyle, Conan or Enid (oldest to youngest) getting a piggyback ride or shoulder ride from uncail Ian. Wars were fought over who gets to go first and how long.

I cannot begin to describe the joy of everyone when Ian announced Val and him are dating

The euphoria over the wedding plans even less

He makes his own whiskey as a hobby and frequently gifts bottles to his siblings

After Maisie (and Breeil), he's the first one to explicitly tell Micah that Robyn is husband material
