I decided to do this for my Fairchild OCs… including Harriet, because I have made the executive decision that my version of her counts as an OC at this point, and not including Jordan, because despite my efforts to include him in AWOHO he still hasn’t shown up.

1. How do you kidnap/capture your OC?

Definitely the most effective method is going to be setting a trap. Either or convince her another avatar needs medical help or feign distress yourself to lure her in, and have a way of disabling her connection to the Vast as soon as she arrives. Even if she suspects danger, she’ll probably go check it out anyway—she won’t take the chance of ignoring something that might be a genuine call for help, and if she suspects a trap it might just make her less likely to bring any of her family along as backup, so as to avoid putting them in harm’s way as well.

3. What torture methods do you use on them?

Well, we’ve established that you’d need to cut her off from the Vast to hold her anywhere against her will for very long, which for most any Vast avatar (though Lynette perhaps less than most) would be a form of torture in and of itself. Other things along those lines—confining her in a small space, burying her alive, that sort of thing—could also be effective, especially if it’s for a long time. But the most effective tactics might require you to have another prisoner. Probably the worst thing you could do to Lynette is to put her in with an injured and/or sick fellow prisoner and let her treat them, establishing them in her mind as a patient, and then force her to hurt and/or kill them. She may not call herself a doctor anymore, but she still thinks like one, and she still treats her relationship to her patients as sacred. Having to violate that boundary would crush her.

8. Do they try to escape or wait for rescue?

Both. Lynette has full confidence that her family are looking for her and will find her, so she won’t try to escape if her chances are low and the risk is high, but she’ll constantly be on the lookout for opportunities, either to rescue herself or to help her rescuers when they arrive. The whole time, she’ll be taking note of any and all information that might be useful in an escape, of her own devising or otherwise. When her family do find her, she’ll be ready with everything they need to know.
