First of 3 acrylics on birch board entitled ‘On the Edge’.Layering and blending, rubbing off paint from some areas and covering up others. So enjoyable but happy with the outcome overall. Think my compositions are becoming more effective using larger spatulas and brushes. I’m trying a few different techniques of adding paint too - scraping the surface with a spatula or adding paint to tracing paper which is then pressed into the surface and rubbed in. I’m using watercolour pencils to add new colours . Think it’s finished but it depends what I achieve with the other 2 in the series to a certain extent.
