I spend so much time just lurking on Tumblr but this week I realized I never posted any of these here! (I’m way more active over on my twitter page)

Last year my good buddies @doigswift and I tabled together at @dublincomicarts (DCAF for short) and we got to make some stuff we’d been dreaming of for a long time: our own dice bags! All artwork designed by us and transferred to the bags by hand. They were so much fun to work on.

We’ll be selling these and more RPG themed stuff at future DCAF events, so keep your eyes open for them!

At next week’s art market and exhibition at the Bernard Shaw, I’ll also be selling some very special postcards. These pieces were done as a collaboration with friends from work, to raise awareness for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland (link) during their 65 Roses Week 2017. 

'65 Roses' is how some children first learn how to say they have 'Cystic Fibrosis'. The symbol in Ireland for Cystic Fibrosis is a purple rose, so we all incorporated that into our artwork. You can see my piece at the top of this post, and you can check out full sized versions of the other pieces at the artists’ own blogs HERE and HERE (which I highly recommend, their art is BEAUTIFUL!)

All proceeds from these postcards will go to CF Ireland.

Some photos from the art market on Sunday ^__^ Look at all these lovely artists selling their lovely art! And here’s my table set up - this was my first ever market (I’ve only ever done conventions before) and it was a lot of fun, so hopefully I’ll get to do another in future!

Hey everyone~! Long time no blogpost! Next weekend, I’ll be taking part in an art market and exhibition at the Bernard Shaw, on the 11th June, with a bunch of very talented friends from work! Here’s some of the postcards I’ll be selling, including some brand new gouache paintings (top row, inspired by Harry Potter). It’s been ages since my last table and I’m very much looking forward to it ^___^

Another Twitter sketch dump! (I tend to forget to repost my sketches and doodles to Tumblr, d’oh)

On the top row we have some observational drawings of people in Dingle (the one on the right is Cécile Blondel, International Relations Manager for Gobelins) and on the bottom row we have some characters (the one on the left ended up unconsciously in the Botticelli Birth of Venus pose ^_^;;;;)

Here’s a bunch of marker and watercolour sketches. Clockwise, we have Ms Taylor Swift (can you tell I was listing to Blank Space at the time??), some train station sketches, and a mini painting of the GPO to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 1916 Easter Rising.
