@lynn_tate Lynn Tate (born September 22), is an American hip hop / pop and R&B recording artist from Tuskegee, Alabama based out of Atlanta, Georgia. She first gained major recognition in 2012, by developing and appearing in the female R&B group “Noralynn Rowe, “in which Lynn Tate wrote and co-produced many of the group’s songs. Lynn continued to grind and network within the industry by writing and performing her own music while making her stamp as the “hook queen” singing hooks for underground and mainstream artists like 2 Chainz and Trinidad James, definitively making herself a heavy hitter in the underground music scene. She is best known for her hit singles "Down For You" featuring Rich Homie Quan, "Turn Me Out" and "DRUG Dealer" featuring Shawty Lo, as well as collaborating with artists such as Pastor Troy, Lil Donald, Bangladesh, Big Bank, Yung Ralph, and Zaytoven. Hooked On Lynn Tate Series: Lynn had chosen not to be too hasty in signing a deal with a label that did not supply the artist with the opportunity for growth, strong marketing support, and stability. She then released her first mixtape, titled Hooked On Lynn Tate on DEC 21, 2015. This project features guest appearances from Rich Homie Quan, Shawty Lo,Yung Ralph and Issa, among others. Following that was the release of her second mixtape, titled The Real Lynn Tate on February 22, 2016, and then just recently she released Hooked on Lynn Tate 2.0 in January 2017. All mixtapes are currently available for download and sharing capabilities located on the popular online music mixtape engine Dat Piff. Musical Style: Lynn Tate sings and raps, combining elements of pop, hip hop and contemporary R&B. When asked if she liked working with rappers more or being a pop singer, she stated: "Because I have worked with several hip hop artists many people do not know yet that my favorite genre of music to sing is pop and soul music, I really don’t feel like I’m a rapper and I don’t consider myself a rapper, I just happen to have a few bars up my sleeve.
