Retroposting - Old CL FET Art

Thought I'd show off come of my old Code Lyoko art of FET from just over 15 years ago. She's been on my brain again, and this was the origin of most of the design of this character that's carried over to today.

This is back during the time I would ink lineart with a light table, scan things in then color in photoshop. FET's outfit I've been redesigning as of late. There is more old Code Lyoko art with her on my deviantart if you want to check out more. Again, I made this in my teens, so quality is dated. (maybe I'll do a redraw one of these days...)

Feeling a little bleh right now, made a couple doodles/concepts for my character as a Lyoko Warrior. I'm having a hard timw deciding certain aspects of her design, she's gone through a few different iterations. Part of me wants to incorporate certain weapon aspects but I worry it might be a bit too busy or over complicated (meanwhile another part of me is going DO IT, BE CRINGE, LIVE FREE!!) Mentioned before her whole thing is taking abilities from other (warrior or monster) and using or incorporating them into herself. Funnily I thought I gave her a scythe back then, but apparently it was just a staff (like Yuna from FFX). I also like her with these energy claws, but I debate weather those should be part of the base design, or if her absorbs Odd's abilities. Same goes for her cat-like appearance, I did do a version of her that took a more dragon style look to it, but IDK. Also the symbol didn't originally have horns; horns or no horns is going about my brain. Maybe I'll go with the horns to do a connection to Mercury, which could tie in the staff given as a gift? Need to do some research.

"I think William was just put in Code Lyoko so that way XANA could have some sort of image. After XANA was holding William for a while, the Lyoko Warriors started referring to XANA as William. It made me upset but I realized that that was his only purpose in the series."

"I want so bad that cherry soda the Lyoko warriors drink all the time (especially in season 4). It would be so cool to taste their favourite drink!!!"

"I find it sweet when Sissi levels with Ulrich or even anyone from the Lyoko Warriors, and when her friendship starts to develop with them. Sadly they usually return to the past or the gang are totally fooling her to make her look stupid or get information out of her, it's really mean."

"I like how the Lyoko Warriors basically found the secret to immortality and potentially the ability to still disease via Lyoko and they sorta did nothing about it."
