Hello! First of all, thank you so much for posting all the updates about Xia Da! I would be completely lost without you. I was wondering though, if there was any way to help Xia Da. Maybe send donations or something? So that she has some more resources for her studio, assistants and the struggle of obtaining the rights of her works. Again, thank you so much for everything!

Honestly, at this point, unless Xia Da opens some kind of donation or support website like Patreon or GoFundMe, there really isn’t any way to support her financially. We don’t even know her address or anything, so we can’t even send money to her directly, NOT that I think we should, since that is neither appropriate nor safe.

Normally, I would say the best way to support an author is to buy their books. However, in Xia Da’s situation, I’m not sure if she would even receive her share of the royalty for her books, considering that she’s filing a lawsuit against her publisher. She did mention that she has no clear source of income right now, so I’m going to assume that her royalties for Chang Ge Xing and Zi Bu Yu are being withheld. And these are her two best-selling on-going series.

So yeah, as I see it, there are two options for supporting Xia Da:

1) Wait and see if she creates a donation/support page and donate through there, or

2) Wait until her new series and Shi Yi Lu are published and buy those books. Since she has now established her own studio, these works solely belong to her, and the money should go straight to her.
