Author's Note: This idea has been lingering around me like a phantom friend since I first played 3.0. My oh my, how far we've all come. :') Revisiting this moment in Amphoreus brings me some comfort at least as we wait for the inevitable heartbreak of 3.6...all I ask of HSR is to not irreparably damage my favorite Trailblazing Trio (a tall order for any Hoyo game, I'm aware). Brief Disclaimer: Recently, English fan translations of all seven Danganronpa: Kirigiri books have been completed by a dedicated fan of the series. At the time of writing this work of mine, only the first few books had English fan translations available online. While I made every effort I could to reference the original series' events and characters as accurately as possible with the information I had, however, this AU may not be perfect or have all the canon facts straight as of right now. Notes: Happy Fontaine update, everyone! I wrote this in a fever haze of emotion the other night after the twins' backstory was revealed to us during the Archon Quest. Genshin has gotten dark enough before, but this...this was a darkness we've yet to see in the lore of this game, until now. What can I say? I knew I was head over heels for the right Harbinger since the beginning (Arlecchino, my beloved). Thank you so much for reading!
