Finally played The Raveyard! Soo... um... the bouncer got stuck behind a table! It was really funny.

(Also I am aware I sound like a giggling toddler MY VOICE ISN'T USUALLY THAT HIGH I JUST GET SQUEAKY WHEN I LAUGH 😭)

He wasn't permanently stuck, but it was still pretty entertaining.

First crack at the Raveyard was rather silly! I also think I'm going to... not be good at it. Oh well! Still fun!

Tbh I think the way I got into Pressure is kinda funny!

Friend knows I like Doors a LOT

Friend is really into Pressure

Friend convinces me to play Pressure and tells me it's similar to Doors!

Friend talks about it a lot and how much he likes it in the process of trying to convince me to play it and tells me about how there's some attractive sassy fish man in it

Due to the lack of description of "attractive sassy fish man" I imagine some sort of fish man creature that has a man bun and large circular glasses. I was wrong, yes, but Sebastian would so rock that shit

I go into the game blind (which if you know me I will NEVER DO in a horror game because I am a CHICKEN) and play and get freaked the hell out.

I die and hear Sebastian's voice for the first time

I call his voice annoying and say he's only slightly less bad than Licorice Cookie

I play a few more times with friend while going in blind even though I am a scardy cat

I decide to Google everything about the game and how to play it and it's entities so I am able to properly play it without having so much anxiety that I explode

Friend starts telling me about his pressure ocs

I become more interested

I have constantly compared Curious Light to Sebastian and have had friends play a game to guess which line comes from which character and friends got more wrong than right. I stand by the stance of them being similarly sassy

I continue being interested in it but don't really super duper get into it. I am still normal. I have not gained the new hyperfixation of the century.

Another friend dms me

Friend wants to roleplay

I say sure, expecting to be asked to do CRK

She asks if I know Pressure

I say yes, I'm interested in it, but I am not super big in it and don't know a lot

She pleads for me to roleplay it

I oblige

I start roleplaying as Sebastian and pressure entities

It's going well

It's not too hard

I find it to be pretty fun actually, and find that I transitioned into it pretty well

I do lots of work to gain as much information about pressure and Sebastian and everything else as I can

It's fun

Suddenly trying to be such a good Sebastian backfires and I get fried and now he is the hyperfixation

Pressure is my new brain explosion

I feel like I am losing my mind

Is this what I felt like in 2020? I forgot what it feels like to be in a really large fandom that's really active its been 4 years

I can't stop thinking about this stupid fish and stupid computer

I did play Pressure on the day of the update, less than an hour after it updated on call with 2 freinds.

The call unfortunately bugged my audio.... which meant even at full volume, everything was barely a mumble.

I was... uninterested in playing Pressure when I couldn't hear anything, so I decided to play something else with my friends lol.

I did get this cool photo of one of the doors references, though.

The expendable's thought process when looking at it is so funny 😭

"Wait, that lock isn't even attached to anything. I could just pull the handle down and open the door... I don't need a lock pick. That's stupid."

Currently 2am just remembered a random sea creature thingie I'd made in middle school

I was thinking about my currently existing sea creature ocs like:

"Would any of them fit into Pressure??" Because I have brain rot yk yk

And I'm thinking and thinking and thinking... no no no... not good... nope! That's just a merman! We have one already! Next!

And then suddenly... it came to me.

Seaodes.

They're a species of some sort of sea creature I'd made up back in middle school, having their species name be a pun because... that's what you do in middle school lol! And now too, because pun names are awesome as hell.

They're these fish things about 1/6th the size of humans on average. They can get a little bigger and a good bit smaller than that... but they're around the size I stated most of the time. The things have dark gray, almost black bodies with crystal like structures growing off them in some sort of way... I don't have a super clear idea of what they look like, ngl. Probably have fairly bright eyes and LOTS OF SHARP TEETH! Scary little things. They're pretty light sensitive, as far as I remember?

Anyway, they are almost never seen alone, always living together in groups. They dwell in caves, cave like structures, and other dark places that provide cover and seem to be a place where crystals would grow. They are carnivorous! They'll disguise themselves as crystals growing out of wherever they live, luring unsuspecting prey in with their pretty crystal selves.

Whatever unfortunate creature, no matter the size, that enters, will be quickly rendered unable to move by crystals that the little Seaodes grow from the cave surfaces. Once their prey is unable to escape, they uhh... feast on their prey.... you know. I'm not gonna go into detail, but you can imagine.

They're also fairly smart, able to recognize patterns and change how they act depending on their prey. Prey doesn't get interested in shiny crystal? What does prey like? They'll watch and gather information, changing how they attempt to lure their food to cater to the food's likings. They'll also learn new ways to hide, noting if prey becomes familiar with their crystals being bad and hiding in another way.

Imagine these little monsters in the blacksite 😭😭

Suspicious cave-like broken down underwater area of the blacksite covered in luminescent crystals, a pile of data or helpful items a good distance in. Wow cool! Super helpful! Totally not a trap!!!

Even Sebastian has to worry about the things! They don't care about his size. They'd eat bigger. They will attempt to eat him if he comes into their little traps. They set stuff geared towards him too!

They are edible, and the crystals that grow from them are harvestable... though the crystals are probably not useful to the expendables or Sebastian. Eating them doesn't have any cool health benefits like wall dwellers... you'd probably just gain a little bit of health. Good source of food though, if you know how to hunt them.
