It's there a particular recording of whiskey in the jar that you like? (Asking for a friend who has it stuck in her head (me))

The weird thing is, I know I must’ve heard a really solid traditional version at some point in time, in order to have such a love for it now, but I have yet to locate my platonic ideal cover of Whiskey in the Jar, to the point where I’ve considered covering it myself, just to make a version that matches up with how it sounds in my head.

(I guess the other thing we could do, is I could ask Jamie to make an arrangement of the song for four people and we could cut together a cast recording, like an outtake from Episode 9, and put it on the bandcamp.)

Sherlock is the only fandom coming to mind for me. :)

For the fandom meme? Is that because I’m totally obsessed with Sherlock right now and it’s all your fault (well, and Dawn’s, since we were trying to welcome her into the fandom with open, welcoming arms, BUT STILL).

Anyway, sure. Sherlock. Here goes!

…probably John. Which, hey, I still love John the most!

Mycroft, no question. Writing (and reading!) fic about him gave me ALL OF THE FEELS.

I honestly don’t know if there’s anyone I don’t like on this show. But with Sherlock, there’s totally this sense that you need to be obsessed with everyone—so maybe I’ll say Moriarty, because I don’t actively seek out fic about him, or anything, and I know lots of people do!

So far so good, but I think that’s the result of only having 6 episodes to go off! I’ll be interested to see if I like everyone just as much by the end of series 3.

Is it weird if I say Henry Knight? After he gets over all his trauma, of course. Because I kinda want to say Henry Knight for some reason.

Maybe John? He’s brave, he grows so much as a person even just from the first episode on, and he devotes himself to the people who are important to him.

I’m gonna go ahead and say Mycroft/Sherlock. I tend to avoid incest ships, and also I just feel very strongly about my Johnlock and Mystrade ships! So…yeah.
