i’ll be publishing some holdovers from the last lyrics day tomorrow (12/23) as stated before so start submitting posts!!

in celebration of the beginning of hanukkah on saturday there will be some hanukkah-related posts on 12/24; i have around 4 right now but any additional ones that are submitted will go up periodically for the rest of hanukkah so submit!! (esp since im not jewish so all of these r submissions!)

starting on christmas day there will be some christmas-related posts (depends on how many i get) and also some christmas-related lyrics posts.. so stay tuned for.. that

update #8: 10 gays, events and more??

so like.. last night i reached 10k followers (i woke up to 10,009) and like. Thank all of you so much?? i said this when i reached 1k but.... i didn’t even imagine that this blog would get big in the first place. i just aired out the idea to a couple of friends n they were supportive of me, n the blog stayed at like, 100 followers for a couple months. its been a really long/weird journey on the internets w/ me making like 6 new friends

but basically its just super baffling that im just some gay teen with like 4 blogs but all it took to get here was just a really simple idea & uncompromising gayness.

*acceptance speech voice* id like to thank... @despairidol @afewyearslater and @vaepormeme for supporting my initial idea.. and @shabbosgay @hinjewism @butchriarchal @sufferinglesbian @realgayemo @telnaga​ for being super gay friends ive made here.. kjhkjsfhds thank u all for supporting me even tho i dont rly feel like i deserve attention or anything

and 2 all my followers thank u for being gay w me. Ur fucking gay.

ALSO: an announcement!! heres what gay u can expect in the future:

 - there are some leftover posts from my first lyrics day around 1k followers so ill be making those into a thing sometime next week!! stay tuned!

- if u checked out my updated taglist u can see hanukkah and christmas tags that are as of yet empty!! thats bc i plan to do a holiday-themed event here on imgayjokes dot turnldr dot corn, submit ur posts now!! it should last abt a week probably, starting on Dec. 24 bc that’s when Hanukkah starts!

 - i wrote an essay about this blog detailing my experience w/ it but im using it for colleges and im concerned abt like, plagiarism and shit. so ill share it after all my college apps are done (1/15). i wanted to post it for 10k but like, i didnt realize 10k would happen this fast aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
