Song translation: 異人の夜 (Ijin no yoru)
This is one of my personal favorite Buck-Tick songs. I love the bass and the sinister arrangement of the music, and the lyrics are so vivid and evocative.

Notes ¹ The word used here is 逝く (iku, sung as yuku) and it is a verb that means "to die; to pass away." It is pronounced the same as 行く (iku, sung as yuku), which means "to go; to move/head (towards)" and is also used for the passage of seasons, as in the case with line 5. This wordplay is used a lot in Buck-Tick songs, and I tried to keep a similar feeling by using "pass away" since it is a euphemism for death that also conveys movement.
