@professordeerest liked for a Fusion M!A starter
He had picked up a interesting scent and was currently following it, not noticing the walking paths he was crossing over. Lysandre wasn’t too close to the city though, more in the natural park that was nearby.
The duo ignored the asker's raucous shouting, locked in a place and time all their own it seemed. Tord's expression was cool, undisturbed, but his mind was racing. Tedd on the other hand, looked disbelieving, and perhaps angry. "So you've still been doing this crap? Behind our- their backs?"
"It's not like that, you're just confused-" Tord began, but was cut off immediately.
"I'm a lot of things, but this is not confusion. I'm both of them, together, you don't think I can tell when you're lying? It's an insult." He swept his hand to the side, gesturing at nothing but meaning far more. "Tell me the truth, what are you doing now?!"
"FIRST of all, I don't need to tell you anything." Now Tord's tone was angry, as he raised his voice at the fusion. "YOU were a mistake that's going to be corrected. Secondly, that is my business, to share as I see fit-"
"No, it's not!" A dark-coloured spark flew from the fusion's faded eyes, fizzling out before either party could really see it. "This affects other people too you asshole! You honestly think Tom and Edd, and hell, Matt too, would be fine with whatever you're up to? That's why you're hiding it!"
Another spark, this time brighter, caught Tord's eye. He took a slight step back, startled, and remembered that the argument wasn't quite with either of his partners, but with a very unstable combination. “Wait a sec-“
“No! You-you always do this, right when I-we-ugh, they think they can trust you-“ Tedd gestured at Tord, “You just prove everyone wrong again! D-do you even care?!”
“Listen, um… you just need to calm down-“
“No!” Tedd retorted, and at that moment whatever had been holding back the amalgamation’s powers snapped in a burst of dark light from his hand, specked with bright green and whipping back those around. Tord dodged out of the way, turning back just in time to watch the fusion collapse. “Oh no-”
Tedd is no longer available for asks.
Jon peered around the corner, followed closely by the askers. Scanning the back of the store, he finally noticed the figure crouched against the far wall. As he floated nearer, he could make out soft muttering, they appeared to be talking to themselves. “No, no come on… I’m fine, we- I’m okay, just… come on, please…” “Um, hello?” The man’s head snapped up, and Jon took note of his wide, dulled gray eyes before he looked back down at his mottled hoodie. He didn’t respond further, so Jon continued, “Er… are you alright?” He was silent for a moment, before responding, “Yes.” His voice was low, but oddly familiar; the accent sounded slightly warped and strange. “Oh alright! Sorry to disturb you, just wanted to make sure I didn’t startle you or anything… it’s Tedd, right?” He seemed surprised at this, and took a moment before replying, “Er… yeah.” “I’m Jon, nice to meet you!” The ghost floated a little nearer, obviously happy Tedd no longer seemed so distressed. “I don’t suppose you live in Durdan Lane up the street?” “Um, yeah actually, I do.” Tedd pushed himself up from the floor, leaning against the wall now. “I do too! Sorry, I kind of assumed, seeing as you weren’t exactly freaking out talking to a ghost or whatever, haha…” “N-no, that’s fine! Yeah, um, I moved in pretty recently?” “Cool! That explains why I haven’t seen you before I guess.” Jon glanced back towards the front of the store, but didn't see any immediate sign of his friends. “Do you want to head back with me? I think Eddie and Mark already left.” “Oh, uh… sure?” Jon joined Tedd’s party.
"If it turns out you did ANYTHING to them, you'll have to deal with the consequences." "Is that supposed to scare me?" Kate rolled her eyes. "Relax, I wouldn't put our partnership in jeopardy. I suggest you back down before you make a fool of yourself and go find them." Tord shot her one last glare before exiting the shop, as Ben put down the camera in disappointment. "But what about the fusion Kate? He's gonna find out!" "Relax, I've gotten away with worse. Besides, both of those guys had really unstable powers, as soon as the fusion tries to use any of those he should separate on his own." Kate glanced at Ben with a grin, until she saw his camera. "You were going to film our fight, weren't you?!" "Uh, nooooo... yes."
Dun dun dun! The mask!! - Nym
“Tord?”Tord turned back around, what was obviously a fake smile plastered on his face. “Oh, ehm, I just forgot it was there haha, you know how the askers are.”“Not really.” Tedd stepped closer, squinting at Tord suspiciously. “Did they also put that gun in your pocket?”

“A-Actually Jon, I don’t think I’m gonna head back yet, I’m gonna go for a bit of a walk first.” Tedd shifted the back he was holding onto his shoulder in what he hoped was a confident manner.“Oh, um…alright!” Jon glanced down the street back towards their respective homes. “I think I better get going though, I don’t want Eddie to worry. Hopefully I’ll see you around sometime!”“Definitely.” Tedd waved a quick goodbye then set off in the opposite direction, towards a local park.
