Official Explanation Time!
Hey all, Mod KZ here! Just wanted to give a little explanation as to why there's been no content on this blog. A lot of factors contributed to this actually, from losing inspiration to leaving my method of contact with mods, but honestly- I'm done with the story here.
By the time I came back and was ready to continue this blog, I just didn't want to anymore. I've let it be for a few months in the hope the inspiration would come back to me, but it doesn't appear to be and I'd rather not keep you all waiting for suspense. What I can do for you though, is explain what the two upcoming storylines were going to be!
I was planning to do Time Warp next, despite the popular vote- the story would have followed one of the guys' traveling back in time and enlisting Edd's help to cast a special spell to save their future. I believe I was going to make Red Leader come back, and most of the storyline would have followed explanations from him as to what happened to their crew and where everyone is now. I headcanoned Tord to go on to lead an army still, in an attempt to take over the world; the difference being it is a joint army of humans and monsters fighting against recent extreme oppression of monster types by most governments.
Other highlights of that timeline included learning which path Edd's magic took down the road, what happens with Tom's monster powers, and Matt using his nursing ability for Tord's army.
Timeline number two was going to be Past Mistakes of course, and this was my self-indulgent make-tom-and-tord-make-up story. This was planned before the last chapter of Fade, and after that came out I felt less inclined to work on this in general. Essentially Edd casts a temporary spell that was supposed to restore memories or something (I forget that part exactly) but accidentally turns Tom back into his nineteen-year-old self, no monster abilities or black eyes or anything. To be precise, it is Tom the night before the big heist that sort of changed everything. He doesn't remember anything of the years past, and it was going to be a feels piece with the rest of the guys debating what to tell him and what to leave out. They don't know how long the spell would last, and much of the story would have been determined by asks and what you forced them to tell, particularly Tord.
Anyway that's most of it, the third timeline was never really planned. I had a lot of fun running this blog while it lasted, and I hope you guys did too!
