comm by @artist-rat - in awe of how wonderfully this came out with capturing the mood between these two eras of isla. the lightning the expressions ough gorgeous as always :3

becoming the vestige has taken its toll on Isla over the last decade. from literally losing her life and the struggle with identity, to the people lost and responsibility burdened onto her, to constantly having to give up a piece of herself to continuously save a world that doesnt appreciate her. having everyone return for solstice made her have to confront how much she has truly changed over the years and worry about disappointing people by not being the person they think she should be. she wants to be happy, carefree, trusting - but she cant.

darien's return wasn't sunshine and roses for her. she was afraid she wouldnt be able to love him again and that she wasnt the person he fell for all those years ago. so much of her wants to be able to go back to that time when things felt so much easier, when it didnt hurt to look at him or anyone else.

also ive had that song on replay for months now as one of thee post-MQ isla songs. so glad to get to use it here hehe

Absolutely adorned how the armor and weapons came out in this - I've loved how the gloambound weapons look and work in game and getting a piece to reflect that looked sick as hell.
