Winter On the Way // Wes + Wraith
@m-for-magic
There were mornings where the frost clung to the fort’s stone walls, and the first thing Wes saw in the morning was his breath leaving him in a wisp. The elf smiled, got up, and dressed in something more suited for the colder season.
It was a simple heavy, long sleeved shirt that he complimented with a simple fur mantle and gloves. His pants were also thick and warm and he had gotten some nice boots from a merchant at the fort just the other day.
With that done, Wes began his rounds, on the lookout for anyone he knew. He couldn’t put a finger on the feeling, but the elf felt like he wanted to go out and do something. What that something was, he figured would come to him when he was walking around.
And he was absolutely correct, too.
He found Wraith, seemingly doing nothing. Except... Wes squinted, watching him a bit before approaching. He still had that same, thin cloak around him. Was he just not phased by the cold? “Wraith,” He started with a polite smile. “I haven’t seen you in a while. How’ve you been?”
