Alex: im not convinced i didnt do a lot of damage to M during the phantom incident. i know i hurt him, but.. that’s what he told me. it’s probably an understatement. not to mention that simulation wasnt exactly.. safe. im glad he was one that survived

Shit ton of hcs about the Prey nerds

I’m sick n bored so lets do this. Gonna divide this by character.

starting off with

Morgan

- does NOT like blood. Sight of blood makes him queasy. (least in large amounts)

- never fucking sleeps. ever. he goes about a week without sleeping an just,,, fucking passes out in the weirdest possible areas. he once woke up inside the bin of the recycler in his office.

- he got food allergies. lactose intolerance and shellfish be the biggest. also allergic to pineapple n eggplant. (might be selfprojecting there….)  

- totally had like three dogs before talos. had to give em away because he couldn’t bring the puppers with him in space and no one wanted to take care of em for him. cried for three days straight. THE PUPPERS WERE HIS BABIES N HE HAD TO GIVE EM AWAY HE WAS SO SAD

- speaking of babies, kids love the guy and he likes kids too. kids love him because he’s a goof and jokes around a lot. he likes kids cause he admires their creativity and imagination. loves talking with em bout their ideas. (i mean seriously have you ever had a conversation with a 5-6 year old??? so imaginative its beautiful.)

- most definitely had an edgy phase. purple n red tips on his hair, black eyeshadow, dark lipstick, leather jackets, fishnet sleeved shirts, chainmalle assessories, y’know stuff like that. probably listened to lots of 3DG, BFMV, Starset, Ashes Remain, stuff like that. (am i exposing my edgy self? maybe. only in music tho. don’t have the money for clothes)

- hidden talent: art. he’s really good at drawing n painting n stuff. just is embarrassed by it. only shares his stuff with alex.

- ALWAYS FUCKING COLD

-last headcanon for him for now gonna be a orientation hc. He’s a pan poly demiboy. don’t really got a preference for people he doesn’t care what his partner’s identity is, he loves em for their personality. 

okay moving on to 

Alex

- he’s a fucking vampire. when was the last time this man slept? no one knows.

- loves plants n crystals. had a shit ton of em back at his flat earthside. only brought his favorite crystals with him that he just could NOT leave behind. couldn’t bring any of his plants because well space and plants don’t exactly get along very well. that blue-green crystal in his office is one of his favorites. also has a rose, smoky, and obsidian quartz in his room. got a pretty chuck of fluorite. also had alexandrite. (y’all see what i did there? also alexandrite is fucking pretty as hell)

- speaking of stones, alex has a necklace for each of the for december birthstones (tanzanite, turquoise, topaz, and zircon) that he wears on different occasions. 

- reason being is because his birthday is december 13. 

- he’s a cold bitch to pretty much everyone but morgan and dayo. but he does care about everyone on talos. he has subtle ways of showing it. someone’s kid’s birthday? if its possible, he’ll make sure they get earthside to be there for the kid’s birthday. if not possible, he’ll make sure they get to talk to the kiddo. (most of the time he makes sure its possible) someones birthday/anniversary coming up? he’ll slip a bonus into their next paycheck with a little memo.

- also had an edgy phase. never talk about it unless you want to get slapped

- his secret talent? he can sing really really well. doesn’t sing in front of people. only has ever sung in front of dayo someone special

- opposite of morgan, he’s always warm. perfect for cuddles. :3

- last headcanon for the boyo: he’s demi gay n genderfluid, more masculine-ly aligned tho.

now moving onto the third and fourth yu siblings, the aliens

the pure boy first

M

- he’s literally the definition of anxiety. 

- when he talks, there’s a slight mimcy sound edging his voice, making it sound other worldly. 

- he a soft boy who loves all living creatures. except the typhon. favorite animals are butterflies and spiders

- sometimes he mimics into a spider or a butterfly to forget what he really is.

- likes to sit on the ground next to alex’s chair while he’s working. he likes to observe what big bro is doing - often gets flashbacks of sorts to moments on talos. not the sim but through the eyes of the typhon. when that happens he just kinda,,, cries.

- tears are typhon goop, blood is this purple goop that he doesn’t even know what it is, all he knows is its his blood

- is actually really close with mika, friend wise. mika found it a little weird n awkward at first but she got used to it and quickly discovered that m is NOTHING like what sarah tries to say to people. she now protects him from sarah’s crap when she notices (which doesn’t happen about 75% of the time. she tries tho)

- doesn’t really eat or sleep. typhon instincts tells him he doesn’t need to because??? typhon don’t need to eat/sleep right??? every so often he does eat, but its odd for him. he doesn’t exactly have taste buds to he doesn’t really taste things but he knows what it’s supposed to taste like so he can trick himself into thinking that he can actually taste stuff. with sleep, he just’ll randomly fall asleep against a wall, curled up in a corner, or his favorite place to fall asleep, literally anywhere in alex’s room.

- i’ve mentioned alex quite a bit cause the guy is very attached to him. get’s nervous if he doesn’t see him for a while n freaks out when alex gets sick. only because he cares a lot about his big bro.

- he does NOT like sudden loud noises. doesn’t matter what it is, spooks him every time.  he acts like a cat when something startles him with the jumping like five feet into the air. 

now that we’ve covered pure alien boy, lets move onto anger alien girl.

Royal

- she’s pretty aggressive but she would NEVER hurt anyone.

- doesn’t like people telling her what to do. you tell her to do somethine, she’ll do the exact opposite

- doesn’t mind using her powers, won’t use any of the extremely lethal powers unless she’s forced to. loves using the fear one that weavers use as well as mindjack to mess with people’s brains. alex has lectured her about this multiple times. “no you cannot make people think that their head is going to explode if they get too close to someone.” “why not???” “YOU KNOW WHY”

- has enough sass to makeup for m’s lack of sass.

- literally gives no shits about what people think of her

- emma n her are good friends. she might actually kinda like emma but is too scared to say anything. but the two ladies will hang out n emma will dye royal’s hair for her

- her and dani are also close friends. dani taught her how to play D&D and now royal’s addicted to it. has a character and everything. 

- shes a tiefling rouge. 

- she will actually sleep on a normal basis. she likes sleep. (what a mood tbh)

- unlike m who has more mimic sounds in his voice, she has almost like?? technopath sounds in her voice. its damn cool.
