OOC NOTE: I’m throwing this under the read more for flirting that really isn’t all that bad just to be safe, but also because I know some people don’t care to see things that aren’t currently relevant to characters.
Whether Axel was trying to drive Amity mad or genuinely didn’t know how what he was doing affected the boy, he wasn’t quite certain. They had spent a lot of time in the younger’s room the past couple of days, so the escort of District Three (Domitia Rankine) ordered that “her tribute” at least spend one of his remaining days outside the walls of his own room.
The deal was likely an attempt for him to learn more about the others before so soon joining them in the arena. Of course, that would be easier to do if Axel didn’t still make a point of keeping up with the boy the entire day. Although, Amity knew he likely wasn’t doing any of it on purpose.
How was he to know that something as simple as a hand on his hip would have the boy’s mind wandering, or that a palm against the other’s thigh at the table would have him shifting so uncomfortably– distant memories dancing in the back of his mind.
It didn’t seem as though Axel was intending for anything to affect him as it was, no, but he was definitely picking up on it all– smiling ever so smugly to himself as Amity blushed and blushed, doing his best to appear as normal as was expected. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the more he reacted, the more it seemed to urge Axel on.
It was all prompting him to really push the boy’s buttons as he dragged his hand along the fabric of the other’s pants– lingering touches becoming more drawn out and purposeful as the night continued. Amity had been about to snap, opening his mouth to speak before he stopped suddenly.
Axel was closer than before, hands snaking around the boy’s waist as he spoke– lips brushing just against the younger’s ear. “I’ll wait for you in your room.” The tribute from Twelve promised, a small pause passing before he added, “Don’t even bother with clothes.”
