She waits for the check symbol to appear under her message before she closes her eyes and begins counting. Adriel has yet to fail her in this little thing of theirs and she knows that he’s not about to start now. 

“One...Two...” She breathes. “Three...”

“Margot, pay attention to me please.” 

Even amidst the chatter of students taking their lunch, Maxine’s voice just drips with cuteness and begs for the other girl’s attention. The princess has always been the more talkative of the two of them and she is already to used to having to use creative tactics to get Margot’s attention.

“Do you need any help with that?” Maxine cannot help it; she is her mother’s child after all. Though it hasn’t been that long since she returned to the academy, here she is already loitering about the school grounds. The person who stands before her is almost entirely hidden by all the stuff they were carrying. The sheer height of it has her worrying for the other’s safety thus, the reason for offering her help.
