It was not often that Jaejoong got to hang out with friends, not that he had many friends, but today he was meeting up for lunch with an old friend, and he was pretty excited to just see a familiar face. Finishing getting ready, the doctor then made sure his pets were fed before leaving the house. He pulls out his phone as he gets into his car. 

[text] Hey! Leaving my place now. I’ll see there! 

He starts the car and head over to their meeting place, which was one of Jaejoong’s favorite cafe’s. The traffic wasn’t too bad but it takes him awhile to find a parking spot. But when he finally does, he’s lucky it’s nearby. Getting out of his car he checks his phone then texts Jiseok as he walks into the cafe. 

[text] I’m here. Where are youuuu? 

Jaejoong looked around the cafe seeing if he spots his friend. Trying to block out all the emotions of the room.

     Six months... it had been six months since Jaejoong had smoked. He had been doing great! Not smoking and not drinking as much. It was something he was constantly working on. Especially since he was a pediatrician. His sisters were constantly reminding him of how he had to set a good example as the kind of doctor he was. And so yes he was working on it, and had been doing well, until today. Today had not been a good day for one reason or another.

     Maybe he passed by too many sad and upset people, he found himself thinking. Jaejoong was done with work for the day and was strolling the streets, while smoking. If his sisters saw him they’d be very disappointed, he knew that, and he wasn’t even sure if he was feeling any better. Throwing the cigarette on the ground and stepping on it, he sighed and looked around. Something that always did make him feel better was drinking. So he set off to a nearby bar. 

     Almost sighing in relief as he entered the bar he went over to sit down by a familiar bar tender, who greeted him and was soon working on his usual drink. In the meantime Jaejoong chews on his lower lip as he scans the room, the people, and their emotions. The last one was not intentional...

Pulling the scarf to better cover his face, the doctor stepped out of his car and rushed into his office building. It was a really quite a nice office, located in a great area and about two blocks from a popular day care and school, which held a lot of his patients. The pediatrician stepped into the elevator and began to remove his gloves and scarf as it opened. Walking into the office with a smile on his face, he greeted his staff warmly. His secretaries and nurses were already all there and had prepared everything for him. 

“Good morning! Oh thank you!” he beamed when handed the folder of the patients he had that day. He looked over the names recognize most and noting of three new patience he had. He went to go look at each of their files to be well prepared. 

“How much more time before the first patient?” he called out as he walked over to the waiting area where on the end of the wall he had a large saltwater tank. He smiled as he said hello to his fish. He fed them and made sure the equipment was running smoothly and that the temperature was perfect. 

“We still have about twenty minutes.” One of the secretaries answered. “Oh perfect!” Jaejoong nodded and took the time to admire the beautiful colorful fish. Fish and water always seemed to relax him. He took a deep breath and sighed in content, mentally preparing himself for the day. Moving away from the tank he went to wash his hands and get his white coat on and prepare for his first patient. Still having a few minutes left he went and sat in his office to relook at all the files.

"Walking on the right side of the sidewalk? Are you kidding me?! You were the one who was looking down at the floor." Jaejoong huffs and shakes his head. "Look I'm sorry you almost ran into me but seriously... what's with the attitude kid." he makes a slight face.
