Kira was whistling to herself as she begin walking out of her shift. There was too much on her mind practically eating it alive. What was with the dead person-why did it happen to them? She was chewing her lip and continued walking not paying attention. But just as she was walking down the stairs she missteped and did a wipeout. She landed on her knees before wincing in pain.

"I'm okay." She said to the footsteps not looking up. "My glasses may not be though."

Erica. Erica. That was the person she was suppose to deliver homework too right? That's what Kira told herself. But something about the building felt off like it was from a horror movie. Kira double checked the address. This should be the right place. Kira gingerly knocked on the door only for it to creek open.

"Erica?" Kira asked in scared tone. "Erica are you here?"

It was another slow shift for Kira. She wasn't sure why shifts got slower and slower. But she knew one thing for certain, Scout was definetely coming. Even if they were not in the mood, Kira made it their personal mission to make everyones day at least 0.01% better.The kitsune waved at the familiar to come. "It's your lucky day-"Kira said holding out the freshly baked cookie. "Extra warm and fresh just for you." Kira said with a wide grin.

Kira wasn't sure how to deal with the stranger in the shop. There was a look of confusion before she finally spoke. "Excuse me." Kira said in a small voice. The kitsune tried again. "Excuse me, you're not suppose to be here, we don't open until 10." Kira said a bit louder, hoping the other would go away.

Kira usually doesn't do the lunch rush. So as the people starting walking she tried her best to keep up. The normally adept barista felt overwhlemed by the orders, each getting almost as long as the line. Kira kept pushing though forgetting to tie her shoes. As she got the macchiato in her hands she shouted.

"One macchiatio extra excholate pow-" and she tripped spilling the drink on the counter and a patron. Kira began to bow profusely. "I'm so sorry let me get you a coffee free of charge." She said looking through the pile of orders. "Can I get your order number or name please?"
