Standing in front of her is a ghost or a hallucination. There is no other explanation for the sight in front of her. Her partner, alive, whole. She gives a sharp shake of her head trying to clear him from her vision, to send him back behind the door she struggles so hard to keep shut tight. It doesn't work and irritation courses through her at how completely she is losing it.
Until he speaks.
Tyche would recognize that voice anywhere. The cadence of the speech and the way the spoken vowels drawl out into the air. Shock chills her down to her core. And then suddenly she is moving, pushing past the people in front of her, frenzied in her efforts to get to him. "Ryan!" His name parts from her lips in a strangled cry of desperate relief.
Only when her hands are cupping his face does she truly believe. He's alive. He's alive. He's alive. Eyes of violet search shades of brown, "How? How are you here?" Her lips press fervently to his as tears leave streaks down her cheeks, "You came back to me."

Heechul was beside himself with worry for his twin daughters at home. He had thought that after he had finished detoxing himself of the venom in his body, he would finally be able to spend some much awaited time with his family. However, as soon as he had gotten out, the moon ball had already started. He had been somber the entire time, thankfully, his wife Aiyana was with him and that he was able to meet-up with his cousin Azalea.
"What kind of gentleman are you looking for tonight?" Heechul asked with a smile, but the melancholy was still evident in his eyes, "It's been some time since me and Aiyana attended a moon ball." he added as he looked over to his wife and patted her hand that was holding onto his arm. "But I think you attended last year's ball?"
"Sorry, I haven't been out much," he admitted sheepishly, "I'm a bit of a homebody, voluntarily and involuntarily at times."

charvitha was glad that others were finally starting to speak up more about what was going on. confident, and arrogant, as she was, she couldn't come up with a way to protect the town on her own — a fact she'd never openly admit. work was a good place to find magic to help her. which would mean she could help others, of course. ❝ welcome. we have a tonic right now to aid sleep. ❞ apparently fear kept some up at night. ❝ if you need anything, let me know. ❞

while most everyone had hated having their magic all out of whack — ade, too, wasn't happy about it — it came with its benefits for the hybrid. she felt more connected to the flora around her, still. and being used to change, it was easy for her to bounce back; go on like everything was fine. ❝ here, i got you a cookie. ❞ she puts the plate in front of the other and sits down, taking a bite of her own. ❝ apparently this one helps with nerves, ❞ she says with a laugh. there wasn't really a need for it, but it was nice to see the bakery at full functionality again.
Closed for @freshcir -enzo Izzy didn't think he would see his therapist outside of therapy. Maybe this was karma for skipping out on the last three appointments. Not because of any hatred of enzo, more because he wanted to be tag team champion (which he sadly wasn't). So now inside the room, he was now fetching some of his extra rations for his therapist, maybe as a way to apologize for his sins. He slid them across the table not making eye contact.
"Bad weather we having doc." Izzy said not really sure what to say. "The jerky is a bit tough...don't break a tooth or you need another doc."

"Mavi!Mavi!Mavi!" Momo said as she ran up to the other. There was a happy skip with her picnic basket. It was one of her days off, of course she was going to spend it with one of best friends. "Ready to have the best girl's day out ever!!!"
@freshcir || gabs & silas - bestie brunch
Gabs slid into the booth with a dramatic sigh, slipping off her designer sunglasses and setting them delicately beside her cappuccino. She smoothed a hand over the crisp sleeve of her blouse, more out of habit than necessity, before fixing Silas with a look of pure exasperation. “You would not believe the morning I’ve had,” she announced, reaching for the menu but barely glancing at it. “First, Ingrid completely forgot to press my silk blouse for today, so I had to change my entire outfit last minute. Then, my driver got caught in some hideous traffic, and I was forced to listen to him drone on about construction permits for twenty minutes. And, to top it all off, some man in line at the café sneezed—without covering his mouth, Silas—right next to me. Disgusting.” She finally looked up at him, pouting slightly as she stirred her coffee. “This brunch better be spectacular, or I might actually lose my mind.” A beat passed before she smirked, as if finally remembering her manners. “But hi, by the way. You look very polished this morning.”
