Happy Greek Month Everyone!!! 🌈✨️
Odin’s sacrifice of his eye to Mímir. Page illustration detail from Myths Every Child Should Know. Doubleday Page and Company, publishers - 1914.
Ragnarok SPOILERS
Laurits being Loki and Wotan being Odin was like WAY too obvious. But Irman being Freya? I LOVED IT!!!
Okay, now we have Thor, Odin, Loki, Freya and Týr.
I think Erik is Mímir, Isolde is/was Baldr. Wenche is/was either Frigg or Huginn/Muninn. Maybe Oscar is Frey or Heimdallr.
But the BIG question remains... WHO IS SIF???
Couldn't draw on Thursday and Friday, so making up for it
The line up are my ocs from left to right: Pot, Neu, (tiny) mímir, samael, (big) mímir and seam
And invader zim oc because my friend pallas got me curious about it 👀
And sisters black beauty sheshe(red) and mimi(blue from the show pichi pichu pitch, it was from my childhood and got nostalgic and their song with sara song are my favorites
The second root [of Yggdrasil] ran into Jötunheim, where the Ginnungagap had previously been. Nearby lay the Mímir's Well [Mímisbrunnr], which contained great wisdom and intellect. It was here that Odin received his knowledge, although Mímir, the guardian of the well, would not permit him to drink until he placed one of his eyes in the well as an offering. Mímir was a god of the Aesir, renowned for his great wisdom. This was gained by drinking from his well, using a horn named Gjallarhorn. A horn of the same name was used by Heimdall to signal the approach of the Jötnar and the beginning of Ragnarök, although it is unclear if this is the same Gjallarhorn. Mímir was beheaded by the Vanir during their conflict with the Aesir and his head was sent to Odin, who used magic to keep it alive. Afterwards, Mímir's head still revealed secrets and gave counsel to Odin.
