Really pleased with the outcome of this plaster skull , which I made a mould from my original gold ceramic skull . Gone threw some trials to get to this point
After looking at Elliot Romero work I decided that I wanted to create my own version of the iconic brand, I selected a few pictures and took them through photoshop where I experiment with colour change and inverting. I was very happy with the results, although I'm not a fan of photoshop I would gladly use this setting to do other works in the future.
Elliot Romero pop art Marlboro. Elliot's work is based on commercial culture, developed in the United States, he uses similar techniques as his researched artist Andy Warhol. I love this piece, Marlboro is a very popular brand, just as iconic as Campbell's soup, and even with colour change it still stays known.
