M-23
She says gentle words that would echo through my ears, Words that would be soothing when I’m about to be conquered by fear. For she knows how to flatter my heart, make it jump, make it skip a beat, She would know how to make me sing, melt me in bliss, and make me feel complete.
She had taught herself how to keep her heart frozen, For in the midst of her journey, one soul had made her heart broken. She had tried to give herself a chance to make a turn, To forget who she was once, to make some pieces of her past burn.
One soul to find lost in path that’s dark, Had collided with her that ignited a spark. That one she had wished she had met long before, Was finally shown, and might be the one to remind her heart how to love once more.
She made puzzles and riddles through her words and her gestures, Said sentences and phrases that would manipulate you to believe her. But if slowly and carefully, you decode her actions, You will see, if she lets you see, what her heart really desires.
Draw me closer to you, not only with your sweet endearing words. But also with your actions that shows your pure emotions. Hold my heart, it tells you something, if you carefully observe, Saying, “give me the chance to show you the happiness you always deserve.”
Slowly everything had happened, never even knew how it started, Like a book that was already written, just waiting to be opened. I was longing for you to say it, to finally admit it. To let me see that it can be true; say those three little words that has been long overdue.
Yes, she was a bit… no! She was long overdue! Yet still I can’t believe that all of this is true. For your heart that you have opened again for you to love, To me that was only a dreamer, just containing this paramour in a distant far.
But then… When the time comes that you have to separate yourself from me, God forbid, but just let me hear what I have to hear. I cannot promise that I can stay, for that moment would be my greatest downfall. But promise me that you will say what you have to say. Then for a while, you’ll see me walk away, Never wonder, I will not speak nor will I let you see, That something is breaking inside of me. For quite sometime you’ll feel that my existence is gone, Because everything that I need to do has been said and done.
And if fate allows our souls to meet once more, I will once again be lost into the darkness where I used to wander. But if I see you again, I will definitely say to myself, “She was the one who took a piece of me, The one who used to say those words that would echo through my ears."

Today I've read A Course in Miracles M-21, 22 and 23, especially been struck with M-23.5:4-8, of that style somehow reminds me of Velázquez's "Las Meninas." http://twitter.com/#!/harunoriyukamu/status/103084276970561537
