East Timor, 2009 Photography by LSPH Paul Berry The International Stabilisation Force (ISF), East Timor National Police and their United Nations (UN) security partners conduct a civil disturbance exercise in East Timor. These civil disturbance exercises are conducted to increase understanding of each others conditions, equipment and tactics in Population Protection and Control. The sessions bring together UN special police from Namibia, Portugal, Malaysia, Philippines, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Egypt and the Australian Federal Police, building a professional rapport and goodwill between the forces.
