Alex’s anger had simmered some, but it was clear to him that Imelda was still affected by the conversation that they all had. Even if she couldn’t remember everything -- she still had emotions and became very attached to Jace very quickly. So the thought that he might not make it through the surgery obviously shook her to her core. They had dropped off the kids at Imelda’s parents and they headed to the hospital. When they got to Jace’s room, they saw that he was asleep. So -- Alex just helped settle Imelda in a more comfortable chair and pulled up a regular one next to her and they just waited for Jace to wake up.

“Guess who did not set off the smoke detector today.” Small pause. “It was a successful attempt at making breakfast.” @angelorumxcaeli

“For the record -- I did not intend to set off the fire detector.” 

“ ----- I’m pretty sure no one intends to set off the fire detector sasha.” There was a small pause before Imelda looked over at Jace. “He was tryin’ to make us breakfast.” @angelorumxcaeli
