Note: Just for fun, it’s a random shower thought. This is written in a context where none of the characters ended up with each other, and their children are biological and not adopted. Very modernAU vibes without meaning to when I word vomited all of this
Nikaido:
Three kids, and all planned. Wifey is super punctilious and responsible when it comes to bringing new life to the world
Oldest is a boy, and two younger girls *wink wink*
Would teach them how to fight at an early age, and obviously teach them respectable life skills such as cooking, cleaning and taking care of themselves.
Is the type to have family traditions such as hiding coins, nuts and other items in dumplings during Chinese New Year. Also would celebrate festivals such as dragon boat and lantern, and make the traditional foods in advance accordingly.
Never went to school herself, so would encourage her children to attend
Is the awesome, friendly mum who makes great food when her kids bring friends home after class
Is not strict about their grades, because what the fuck are derivatives? What are vectors? Why must they analyse a text of a random philosopher she's never heard about? As long as they're happy, she's happy.
The oldest boy takes over her restaurant and would probably be the type who is super lowkey and wants to live a simple life. Uses good ingredients and makes good food, so obviously becomes a local favourite. Happily living a quaint life, until food vloggers found out, and floods of tourists would start coming. End up begging people to leave bad reviews so he gets fewer customers.
The middle child would never be neglected! Nikaido pays attention to all her kids. The daughter would be super into music and the same bands Nikaido is into, Nikaido will give her all her old cds and cd player to use. Daughter would probably save up with the help of her mum and learn electric guitar or drums at an early age because of that. In the future, become an unpopular indie musician in a rock band, but end up blowing up like crazy a decade down the line. Nikaido would attend as many shows as she could.
Despite never asking or insisting that her children study crazy hard, the youngest daughter ended up becoming an academic weapon. The type of kid you see studying in the corner when you walk into the restaurant. Skips grades, valedictorian in school, plenty of academic awards in spelling bee and math, she signed herself up to. Would become a leading researcher in astrophysics or something. Would be the "that child" parents compare their kids to. Nikaido gets pestered by a lot of neighbours about how she raised such an impressive daughter.
Noi:
Two kids, a boy and a girl. First one is unplanned because she was horny that night and didn't care about protection, forgot to take her pills also.
The oldest is a boy; the girl is probably only one or two years younger.
None of them would give a damn about fighting or violence that their mother dabbled in.
Both are gorgeous, gorgeous children who inherited their mother's great beauty and height.
Both definitely got scouted quickly and became child models.
Children are self-sufficient and mature quickly, as sometimes their mother is a little ditzy and rough around the edges in mundane household tasks.
Noi takes them to amusement parks and Disneyland, with the Mickey Mouse ears and cute backpacks.
She would be really into those cute matching family outfits
Noi would also send them to school, because she thinks education is important. Also, the type to not really care about their grades as long as they’re not failing
Encourage them to pursue whatever they like.
Is the cool sexy mum everyone and their own mothers have a crush on.
The daughter would go through a rebellious teenager phase and get into big fights with Noi. Is probably an avid player of a sport such as volleyball, and got really into boxing. Are those nice, popular girls everyone likes. She beats up bullies, so Noi gets called to the principal's office all the time.
The son would be rather sullen and quiet, the complete opposite of his mother's personality. Get bullied for some time until his sister beat them up so bad that they never bothered him again.
Unsurprisingly, both kids went into the fashion industry. Noi is quite fashionable herself (even though she wasn't when she was young), and from some scenes of the anime, she's potentially wearing big-name brands, and knows how to style herself, so it rubbed off on her kids.
The girl would continue pursuing modelling and work for big names (earn herself Victoria's Secret wings). Calls back home very often and sends her mother expensive gifts from different places.
The boy is a famous fashion designer who only designs outfits for women and refuses all interviews. Definitely designs and sews lots of clothes for his mother.
Noi attends a lot of fashion shows due to her kids, and was told that she's not allowed to yell 'that’s my son/daughter!', like in a sports stadium.
Both her kids will pool in their money and buy a ramen restaurant, which they name after their mum, and Noi is allowed to eat there anytime, free of charge.
All her kids love Shin and call him uncle.
Shin:
The type who eventually relented to one child after some convincing, but ended up with triplets lmfao.
Girl daaaaadddd
A man who slaughtered hundreds, now reduced to a donkey on the play mat in the mercy of the three baby girls on his back.
Would learn how to braid and whip up fancy hair styles for his daughters, and will agree to dress up as a princess and go to tea parties if any of them is into that.
Daughters would chew on his stitches when they were toddlers, once older, would ask questions about where he got them, causing the erms and errs.
Is the type to tell his children, if asked about how babies are made, that he didn't make them, he found them in the dumpster.
In the beginning, if he is rearing them solo for the day and has to take them out, he will get those toddler leashes to stop them from running around wild.
Kids will steal his glasses and hide them in random spots around the house.
The type to be strict and enforce a curfew, but not so much that his kids feel stifled and reluctant to tell him things about their lives
But will grieve and get extremely stressed out when they all go through their edgy teenage phase.
The scary dad the girl's partners would have to face when they take them to meet their parents.
I like to think he doesn’t actually want his daughters to get involved in blood and violence, thus he would pretend he's a boring businessman or office worker.
Bawls his eyes out when his daughters get married.
All his kids got a bit of unhinged bloodlust in them.
One of his kids is definitely into art, and would draw and paint over the woodworks Shin makes. In the future, might become an underground favourite artist who does questionable paintings and experiments with mediums such as blood.
Another one of his daughters got interested in the violent facets of the world and probably inherited an equally violent magic, would end up as an assassin or hitman who works for the mafia or wealthy people, much to his dismay.
Idk why, but I like to imagine the last child is an unhinged tech kid who hacks into highly classified documents for fun, causing agents to show up to Shin's doorstep on a random Saturday.
All his kids love Noi and call her auntie.
En:
One daughter, and only because he doesn't want the person he loves to undergo the pain of childbirth again (he was the most stressed out in the hospital when his kid was born, lmfao)
Spoils her rotten to the ends of the earth, truly, gives his kid whatever the hell she wants.
Is big on family portraits and pays artists big money to paint big portraits of his precious kid and him together
Has thick albums of photos of his kids' firsts
Surprisingly, the girl isn’t spoiled and isn’t a big spender at all. She has very few wants. A very good, upright kid.
Would probably get herself a part-time job to get life experience, to the shock of En
