Free time didn't really exist in Ken's mind. It hadn't for quite some time. He often felt like he needed to prove himself, even if there wasn't anything that needed to be done. That was why even when he didn’t really have anything to do, he still felt the need to survey every part of his surroundings. Ironically, even with constant vigilance, his gaze swiped over the man in gray-scale twice before he realized it wasn’t just his eyes playing tricks on him. It wasn’t the weirdest thing he’s seen, but it was weird enough for him to want to engage. Without a second thought, Ken walked up to the man, deciding against touching his shoulder to get his attention as he would most people. “Hey, uh, man, you got a minute to spare?”
