I had this dream when I was younger about a group of sick Weeping Angels from Doctor Who and one of them became my friend.

I was getting breakfast at a cafe before class, but I didn’t have time to wait for them to make a bagel sandwich, so I was going to get a pain au chocolat. I noticed another version of it on the shelf that was shaped like a frog, and I knew I had to get that one. I got to the front and asked for it, and asked to get it heated up. They didn’t put it in the oven/microwave, but just on top of a bowl of hot water.

Someone stole it from me while it was sitting on the bowl and started eating it, and obviously I got upset. Then some woman started doing a whole thing, I don’t really remember what. I think she was running around the cafe holding people’s pastries, or something? Idk.

Later, I told someone about her, and he told me she was well known as M. Marquesa, and that there was a newspaper article called “The One Who Follows” about how she stole people’s pastries that one time. I felt validated.
