whatever happens you guys are friends first

it’s not really that you act differently during the day vs at night or with people vs alone it’s just like a switch
one minute you could be aggressively playing uno and the next you’re making out on the couch
likes playing with your fingers
when you’re sitting together he puts one arm along the back of the couch and the other hand on your thigh so he’s angled towards you
is very cuddly and will roll himself into a blanket burrito effectively giving you no choice but to get in the burrito and press yourself against him
his bed has so many pillows and blankets
you always coordinate your outfits so you might wear a dress with blue flowers and there he is with his perfectly matching blue tie
you know home sometimes everyone’s kind of hovering but no one’s really partying yet?
well mitchy recognizes that someone has to start the party and that someone is him
(idk if you’ve ever seen that video of him dancing by himself but think of that)
but he has you so he pulls you with him into the center of the dance floor and it’s just the two of you dancing for a bit before other people start joining you
going hard to the 00 party hits
you’ll dance to a few slow songs but once you start to get drunk and giggly it turns into you both just doing a slower version of whatever club dancing you were doing
dancing the Macarena at 1/4 speed
some people think the two of you are acting kinda childish but really you just don’t take yourselves too seriously
he loves kissing all over your face
it makes you scrunch up your face so he ends with a sloppy kiss on your nose
Mitch is the team puppy and he plays a similar role as your personal hype up man
if you get dressed up Mitch will shower you with compliments until your cheeks get hot and you come over to bury your face in his shoulder
but he’ll put his hands on your hips and push you back a bit so he can keep looking at you
he’s constantly trying to get your attention or get you to laugh
loves to do the weird snapchat filters with you
sometimes he’ll put one on you when you’re not paying attention so if he says “(Y/N) open your mouth” you know you’re going to be on his story
he’ll randomly propose baby names to you
“Do you like the name Violet?”
he’s obviously a Big Shot Hockey Player™️ but he always supports your stuff too
like if you had to give a speech or do a performance when everyone’s clapping he whoops and yells “that’s my GIRLFRIEND”
it can be a bit embarrassing at times because you’ll tell him you got a promotion over lunch and suddenly he’s very loudly telling your waiter about how awesome you are
you’re giggling and shushing him
