MUAYTHAI FIGHTERS FIGHTING IN CONTACT KARATE COMPETITION
In this video from the Japanese company Sankyo ltda and filmed by Fuji Filme we see two Thai fighters from Muaythai being them P.Somchai and M.P.Poompo. Being invited to participate in the First World Kyokushinkaikan Karate Championship (The World Kyokushinkaikan Championship (World Open Kyokushin Karate Tournament)) organized by IKO (International Karate Organization Kyokushinkaikan) led by Masutatsu Oyama that took place on November 1, 2 and 3, 1975 in Tokyo, Japan. And Thai fighter P.Somchai won fought against the Polish fighter named J. Grzegorz winning by unanimous decision of the judges. Thai fighter M.P.Poompo faced Danish fighter H. Batts by unanimous decision of the judges.
