Day 3 out of 5
Today we discussed chaos and order. Where do we find chaos? Where do we find order? When we think about these concepts within ourselves what can we connect them to? Is the need for order rooted in fear, insecurity, anxiety, or some other feeling?
Does the impulse to incite chaos come from a place of confidence, destructiveness, creativity, boredom, wanting to be seen, or something else?
What does it mean to embody Order?
What does it mean to embody Chaos?
How can we portray these concepts through our body? (facial expressions, how fast or slow we are moving, repetitive or irregular motions, sounds, etc.)
How do we represent Order or Chaos in our every day lives- group activities, or singularly?
Am I Order or Chaos? 9/17
My impulse is to follow Order, but my desire is to embrace Chaos. My impulse tends to override my desire, however, because the two are coexisting there is an ongoing battle. Battle is inherently chaotic, therefore my impulse is constantly disrupted by desire. So, I’m living in an oxymoron of chaotic order.
