Short paragraph describing the character’s feelings regarding Jason’s death:
Teddy saw Jason as like a little brother. While Teddy was hard on him, he only wanted Jason to be the best he could be. Teddy always had an open door policy, it was a safe space. He could come to Teddy for anything. Even if it was something as scary as feeling like his life was in danger. After hearing about Jason’s Death Teddy had to take a moment, He was heartbroken it was like losing a family member. Now that he has had time to think and calm down he can’t help but worry about his other loved ones and even his own secrets coming to light.

Teddy grew up in greenview, was born with the the plan for him to take over for his father when he was ready to retire from his coaching position at the college.
though for a while those plans were uprooted when at only the age of 3 he was diagnosed with type one diabetes. His parents became very protective of him. Despite them thinking this would hold Teddy back, he beat the odds and became nearly super human. He was a giant in height and in muscle and was able to use what his parents thought would be a crutch to his advantage. He was extra careful with his body and grew up to be the towns golden boy.
unfortunately because of this Teddy put constant pressure on himself to prove himself to his parents. He's never really taken a break or taken the time to get to know himself. Until he went to college, he of course was still in town but he was on his own in the dorms for the first time in his life. Its when he started to realize he liked masc presenting people just as much as Fem Presenting people. and while Teddy was a hopeless romantic he never really got serious or settled down with anyone. Focusing mostly on his career. His plan to take over for his dad still in action.
He met Jason when he was only in high school and could see the potential and why his father wanted him for the team. So he took Jason under his wing and became like an older brother to him seeing himself in the boy. He was so excited when Jason got in at Greenview uni and couldn't wait to see what he was going to do with his talents.
When Teddy's mother died very suddenly, and he saw his father spiral it got to a point where Teddy went to the dean of the school and asked to apply for his fathers position. He ended up being hired and his father was able to retire. Teddy was given some of his mothers journals to keep as a memento. He didn't realize the secrets they would hold. He soon found out that he wasn't his fathers son, and couldn't help but wonder if that was the reasoning for his fathers crash out.
He couldn't ponder on it long, while it broke his heart and made him question so much about his life. He had a Job to do and the team back at the university was counting on him. Once again feeling the weight on his shoulders too prove himself.
Jason's death rocked Teddy's world even more, it was like loosing a family member. And now while he might still be his chipper self he can feel it slipping. Worried that his sacrifices for the team will come to light. After loosing his two best payers in such a short amount of time...he had no other choice.
