Sure it had taken five or six stores, and about twice as many thoroughly berated employees, but they’d finally found a real costume place. Almost no tags starting with ‘Sexy” or the like, and accessories that weren’t just a joke. Plus, they looked better than the cardboard she’d been trying to turn into armor before. Not that it was a particularly high bar to clear.
Gesturing at the racks of clothing, she’d motion for Fran to go first. After all, Mordred wasn’t exactly sure what people found spooky, and seriously doubted they’d have a costume of the one thing that had scared her.
“Go on, pick a costume! I’ll find something similar. Apparently it’s lame to go as yourself, or alone, even though we’re way more intimidating than any of this shit.”

▊狐 “They’re really bringing in the more troublesome of Chaldea’s Servants now, aren’t they?” Tamamo did feel some form of kinship with Frankenstein’s Monster. It was a kinship she felt with all monsters that just wanted a place to belong. The fox merely observed from a safe distance, not particularly sure about Fran’s own feelings about this meeting.
Eventually she just sighed. “Fine, fine. Are you hungry, Berserker? I’m not as much of a busybody in the kitchen as EMIYA or that cat, but I’m a good cook and we’re not very farm from my condo.”
