I’m pretty pleased with this nappy cake I made for my beautiful friend, who’s created another beautiful baby boy. 💙 For the bottom tier I used a candy tin. And covered the outside with a row of nappies, secured in place with a large elastic band. The tin worked as a place to store, clothes and booties. 💙 For the top tier I used solely nappies, again secured in place with a large elastic band. This sits perfectly on top of the bottom tier, hiding the tin. 💙 I used baby blue ribbon to cover the elastic bands. I kept a few pieces out of the tin, to decorate the top. Harry wondered off in ToysRUs, and got himself into the car. He was so pleased with himself. I was actually pretty impressed! This store is one of the ones closing down, so they had some reductions throughout. Did someone say, closing down sale at toysrus? I’m there! I have such fond memories of walking around the store as a kid, and being totally mesmerised. It saddens me that they won’t have the same memories. Hence why the boys were allowed to wonder the store, as I’d usually use the safe buggy option.
