≻ does your muse lead others effectively? shroud is a cunning and calculated leader. he preys on the socially vulnerable, financially unstable and the ignorant. this makes him as effective as he is, because they're all dependent on him and vulnerable in some way. the majority of his men are indebted to him, because of his augments. he's also been shown to be extremely strategically effective, by being able to predict the actions of his enemies and their next steps. it enabled him to calculate, plan and position red ring throughout torrance, spreading the heroes thinly and exhausting their resources before concentrating on his primary attack. so yes, shroud leads others effectively, because there's no emotional connection to his men and they're indebted to him, not vice versa, so it doesn't matter what happens to them, making them highly flexible pawns prepared to go to extreme lengths for him in the name of evil.
≻ what is your muse's most arrogant behaviour? a need to always be right. elliot exhibits complete astonishment when he learns he picked the wrong pulse. due to his augment, he has the capacity to predict and calculate outcomes and events. this has led to elliot becoming overly familiar and comfortable. he expects his predictions to always be correct and in all honesty, needs them to be. robert was right, elliot is afraid of making the wrong decisions and not being able to foresee the outcome. it's all about needing control. this can be seen as arrogance because he's inclined to ignore suggestions, advice and even warnings, putting himself and his men in danger purely to prove a point. he overlooks the fact that circumstances can change, variables can come into play and that he can still be surprised.
≻ is your character confident? charismatic? highly, to a point where it's delusional. while elliot does experience delusions of grandeur, it's important to note they're not necessarily fuelled by insecurity, but a need for control. a lack of control leads to feelings of fear and instability which is not only a sign of weakness to elliot but also a deeply uncomfortable experience that he's keen to avoid at any cost. elliot's confidence isn't a façade, he genuinely believes in himself and has convinced himself that he's better than everyone else. his charisma doesn't mask insecurity. it masks his flat affect and mystery. on the surface, eli might appear as untrustworthy. the charisma he has conceals that.
≻ how does your muse handle being ignored? not well. the last time eli felt ignored, he killed a man. it's clear eli, likely from childhood, struggles with rejection and being let down. it's very apparent he doesn't know how to process disappointment, jealousy or outright injustice. most people will resort to communication, or will try to 'get back at' the other person somehow. eli didn't get what he wanted, felt ignored / rejected, was disappointed, became enraged and killed. all this to say, it's best not to ignore him.
