https://chubbysewcialist.tumblr.com/ So this is the kind of pattern that actually lends itself to the eternal-wrinkles of linen. This was a remnant buster, so the lighter green is a lightweight fabric, and the dark green is a medium weight, because that’s what I had. The pattern is McCall’s M5050, which makes a nice range of peasant shirts for casual and costume outfits. Instead of folding up the waist on the pattern like I usually do, fixing this for my high waist had me move the elastic channel up by about an inch so it fit my bust better. There was supposed to be elastic in the sleeve hems too, but it kept feeling like I had a bra strap falling down my arm, so I just removed it from the first shirt and ignored that direction for the rest of them. I can’t decide if this is an Earth Kingdom shirt, or if I’m Disneybounding as Rouge, lol.
